Beliefs

So what exactly are the beliefs of The Church of the Nazarene?
We believe:
  1. In one God - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  2. That the Old and New Testament scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
  3. That man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.
  4. That the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
  5. That the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
  6. That believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
  7. That the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
  8. That our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.

Mission

Our mission is to become a bi-lingual church, making and building believers through five key areas of community life:
Prayer, Discipleship, Stewardship, Worship, and Fellowship.

Prayer Calling upon God to make us a House of Prayer; prioritizing prayer individually and corporately in order to walk in the fullness of God's power and will.
Discipleship Winning lost people to Christ; educating and transforming individuals into Christ-likeness; forming the fruits of the Holy Spirit in mind, soul, body, spirit, family, church, and society.
Stewardship Establishing holiness by God's grace with all of our resources, and with the resources of others.
Worship Actively glorifying God through all areas of ministry and personal conduct so that God may reveal Himself and transform lives.
Fellowship Building relationships that bring people into the body of believers; and that bring healing and unity to the Body of Christ.
